Impact day

In my last post I promised to cover a series of topics and as my full-time parent life goes, I couldn't get round to it as consistently as I wanted ahead of the impact day, today. But it still holds that I will get to those posts. And the interview!

In any case it still holds that today the LICIACube is up and running and set to capture images of the impact on the moonlet 3 minutes after the collision and beam that back to Earth.

This will be the end of the DART flight, but the mission carries on!

I'll keep my eyes peeled tonight on to NASA's stream airing the collision.
